Between uninstalling and reinstalling did you reboot?

Try uninstalling, restarting, redownload (just in case the download was corupted), reinstall, restart, run. See if that works.

Unfortunately the "problem" still exists--even with the restart. Any other suggestions?

vista ultimate x64. The program worked fine for over a month...until I tried to install a new package.

I was having the same problem.....I just gave up on it. Worked for awhile until I installed the latest update.

I put a reply on the other post. Wonder if it is having a problem finding the sound files/packages that get downloaded with the basic package?

Sure would be great if someone actually fixed this bug... I've tried all suggestions but to no avail. How could such a solid company let such a big bug slide?

johnwasneverhere email support@stardock.com so you can give the exact problem you are having. I'm on XP 32bit and have no problems now. I did when It first came out though.

I have to admit, I've tried everything, de-installing SP & re-installing it, with reboots (multiple) in between & clearing all entries in the registry referring to SP. No luck. Whenever I try to run it, it crashes. This is on a Vista Ultimate (32 bit) high-end machine. Any suggestions?

I did have a problem right after SP want public. I know all of you have tried uninstalling, did you also uninstall all sound packages? That's what I did and did a clean install and the problem went away. I am running XP so there could be a problem with it connecting correctly with Vista.

If the uninstall, reboot and reinstall doesn't work you should email support@stardock.com. I would think they have a fix.

Mine wasn't working either until I installed SP2...that seemed to fix whatever the problem was.

SP2? meaning wat?... Coz there is no SoundPackager 2 or even ServicePack 2 for Vista. Are you taking about WinXP SP2? Btw... i had also tried out with Vista SP1 it stil doesn't work.
